People for the American Way retained Roth PR to develop and execute a broadcast media outreach plan to secure live national bookings for the organization’s African American Ministries in Action.  PFAW’s goal was to counter the misconception being created that black religious leaders were all against gay marriage.  Roth PR secured this prime time interview with one of PFAW’s African American Ministries leaders, Reverend Byron Williams with CNN’s Roland Martin on the “Campbell Brown Show.” The appearance generated a flurry of blogging on liberal, as well as conservative websites, communicating the message even further.
